Notes: - *This is a condensed version of "The Loot of Time". I was finally able to locate a copy of this magazine and confirmed that "S.O.S In Time" is a word for word reprint of "The Loot of Time" with some descriptive narrative shortened and the last section about 'Old One Eye' in the Time Tractor excluded altogether. The story is attributed to "Durham Keys". I have researched through some online sources that have detailed the contents of all 23 issues of "Thrills Incorporated".
Keys authored three other stories for the June, August, and September, 1950 issues of "Thrills Incorporated". I have obtained a copy of the June 1950 issue with the story "Space Pirates Inc." also by Keys. This story does not match any known Simak story. Phil Stephensen Payne has offered the following information: "Durham Keys was a pseudonym for an Australian fan called Durham Keith Garton who also wrote as K. E. Dresser & Durham Keyes and was notorious for plagiarising other authors' stories." We can only assume, therefore, that "S.O.S. In Time" is an unauthorized reprinting of "The Loot of Time".
